KillScroll is a productivity application designed to help users manage their time, reduce distractions, and improve focus.
KillScroll is designed with privacy as a core principle. The application operates primarily on-device, meaning most processing happens locally on your device and not on external servers.
This Privacy Policy explains which permissions KillScroll uses, how they are used, and what information (if any) is collected, stored, or shared.
KillScroll does not collect, store on external servers, sell, or share personal user data.
All configuration and behavioral logic operate locally on the user’s device.
KillScroll requires certain Android permissions in order to function properly.
The camera is used exclusively for real-time motion detection during physical exercises (for example: push-ups, squats, or similar movements).
This mechanism allows users to unlock blocked apps by completing short physical challenges designed to encourage healthier habits.
All video processing occurs locally and temporarily on the device.
The Accessibility Service is used only to detect which application is currently active on the device.
This allows KillScroll to apply the blocking rules that the user has configured (for example blocking distracting apps during certain periods).
This permission is essential for the core functionality of the application.
KillScroll does NOT:
KillScroll only checks the name of the currently active application to determine whether a blocking rule should be applied.
Usage statistics allow KillScroll to reliably identify which application is currently being used.
This improves the reliability of the blocking system.
All KillScroll configuration data is stored locally on the user’s device.
Examples include:
KillScroll does not use cloud databases or remote servers to store personal user data.
KillScroll may offer optional premium features through in-app subscriptions.
Subscriptions are processed securely through the Google Play Billing system.
KillScroll does not collect, process, or store payment information.
All billing information, payment methods, and transaction processing are handled directly by Google Play in accordance with their privacy policies.
KillScroll only receives confirmation about whether a user has an active subscription in order to unlock premium features.
KillScroll may rely on limited third-party services that support app functionality.
KillScroll uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions.
RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase information provided by the app stores in order to validate subscriptions.
KillScroll does not send personal user data to RevenueCat.
